JENNA KANE

Jenna’s passion for dancing began at the young age of 5 at a local dance school. Jenna stayed here for 14 years and then moved on to train intensively for 2 years completing a national dance diploma. This then led to Jenna working within primary schools across Peterborough as an SSCo dance coach and then secondary schools leading GCSE dance lessons. From here Jenna knew she wanted to inspire others and help children grow and develop through dance. Jenna created Danzfusion in 2006 and over the years the company has thrived and now has over 150 students.

Alongside running Danzfusion Jenna is a fitness instructor teaching a variety of class styles from dance programmes such as BodyJam and Sh’bam to BodyCombat, Bodybalance and aqua fit classes. Jenna loves how group exercise not only creates positive physical changes but promotes a healthier lifestyle for the participants, boosts memory, reduces stress and creates enjoyable social experiences for a wide audience of people.

NADINE HOPE

Nadine started her dance journey through Danzfusion, and danced with Jenna for 10 years before moving on to take a Contemporary Dance Degree at Bath Spa University. She gained a First Class Honours Degree, and found her style in the 3 years that she was there. Coming from a hip-hop and street background and applying these techniques to the world of contemporary her style is a fusion of both. With intricate and unique movements fused together alongside hip hop and street techniques her style is something a little different.

LAURA MARRIOTT

Since I can remember I have always had a passion for dance. I started dance at the age of 3 and never looked backed. I have danced many different styles including ballroom, street, contemporary, jazz and modern. Dance was something I always knew I wanted to do and in fact couldn’t live without. I studied a BA Hons degree in Dance at Lincoln University. I then stayed in Lincoln another year to complete my MA degree in Choreography. I absolutely love street and contemporary, and now I enjoy teaching what I know to enthusiastic young dancers who have a passion just as I do.
